Back in 2018 I had the chance to photograph character portraits for a Modicum Theatre Perth play - Not Safe From Work, showing 5th - 10th December 7:30pm at Goolugatup Heathcote.
"The four interns of Valfield Industries are running out of patience. Their workloads are spiking, their co-workers are insane, and they’re not getting paid enough to deal with any of it. However, when they uncover a prediction for an approaching ‘catastrophe’ they figure they might as well do something about it – though it’d be a lot easier if their supervisors weren’t running them into the dirt. Could it be that the cold, uncaring corporation profiting off their misery isn’t worth saving after all?". Read more about the show here.
Modicum Theatre Perth is an independent, not-for-profit theatre company based in Perth. Thier members consist of students, amateurs and hobbyists looking to gain experience in all areas of production-making. Modicum produces classic and modern pieces, with a focus on supporting Perth’s emerging playwrights and creative talent. Based in Perth, Western Australia, they rehearse and perform at a variety of venues, including spaces at Murdoch University, University of Western Australia, and in Applecross.
